Our GREEN OASIS Moss Coaster Kit is all things lush and green. It's the perfect activity for any plant lover and includes every single textured yarn we have available, all in gorgeous green shades!

Not only are our coaster kits practical and can be used with hot or cold drinks, but they're also a sculptural masterpiece for your space.

Our moss kits include a HUGE amount of supplies, tools yarn! Yarn types included in this kit are milk yarn, feather yarn, chenille yarn and bobble yarn in multiple colours.

Our kits come with everything needed to sew the coaster backing on, but you may want to use fabric glue or hot glue if you have it handy.

Are moss kits suitable for beginners?

Yes! Our kits are perfect for beginners as they include everything you need to complete your kit, including loads of materials and tools.

They also include full video tutorials so that you can complete your mossy creation easily.

These kits are very crafty and creative, so they're perfect if you're new to craft and want to stretch your creative muscles.

If you're a seasoned stitcher, you'll still enjoy this kit as it includes lots of new techniques that you might not have seen before.

What's the difference between moss kits, and latch-hook kits?

Our new moss kit are quite different from our classic latch-hooking kits, but they're equally enjoyable.

Mossy Kits:

Focused on craft and creativity, meaning you can customise your coaster and make it unique to you.
Uses multiple weaving techniques rather than one latch-hooking technique.
Faster to create as it can be completed in 1-2 session easily.
Teaches you to stitch or glue the backing, rather than having it pre-stitched.

Latch-Hooking Kits:

Focused on mindfulness and relaxation, so its more suitable for watching TV in the background.
Uses one repeated technique rather than multiple weaving techniques.
Longer time to stitch as the project is much larger.
The backing is pre-sewn and the yarn is pre-cut for you making it easier to get started.

Both kits are equally easy and suitable for beginners. However it depends on the activity you'd like to do. If you'd like to get crafty and be more openly creative then I recommend our moss kits. If you'd rather focus on mindfulness and relaxation, try our latch-hooking kits instead.

Cute, but Cheap
Received this as a gift. Started it yesterday afternoon. The instructions seem easy so far and the videos are super helpful. However, the yarn included in the kit sheds so incredibly much (specifically the bobbles). After completing only the two bobble sections and then starting the loops, the latch hook broke. I emailed them and they said they could replace it for 15 AUD, which is $10. I was able to order one on Amazon for $5. The kit itself is $30, and they wanted me to send them 1/3 of the price of the kit just for the latch hook? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Moss coaster kit
Whilst I really enjoyed doing this kit, my only criticism is that as an older woman I would have preferred the option of having paper instructions ( even if I had to pay a bit extra) than having to use technology, not all of us are technically capable. I had to wait until one of my grandchildren could come and help me with the qr code.

it's okay
I didn't realise it was all video-based instructions. I'm totally new to latch-hooking and had to spend quite a while replaying the initial video to get the hang of it and ended up using another youtube tutorial to really understand it as your one is quite dark in parts. Then having to constantly switch to new videos was a little frustrating. Didn't find it particularly enjoyable or relaxing, but I know my daughter loves the finished product.

Absolutely loved doing this!
I really enjoyed the variety of techniques to make this, it tickles something in my brain to switch between them. It is still repetitive in a soothing way but the occasional switching adds some change. I have since purchased some materials, designed a pattern in procreate and am creating a larger one.
Minor feedback - can cc include the illustration and/or image on the print out so you don't have to go on your phone to check it as you're working.
