Perfect for beginners! Our bag kits involve weaving lusciously soft feather yarn into a sturdy canvas. Taking between 3-5hrs to complete, they are the perfect weekend project for one or a crafternoon activity for friends!

The pink gingham woven handbag was a joy to make! The step by step instructions made it really easy to follow along and when mistakes were made the material used made it quite forgiving. My three friends and I each bought one of these kits in a different style to make for an outing to a musical we were going to see together. We had so much fun putting them together and got some many compliments wearing them the day of! Such a great idea and well thought out and executed with all the pieces included and the little cute crochet charm.
A tip: if you’re a beginner with any stitching type crafts, I would go with the wavy pink and red design, that was definitely the easiest. Tulip design was the hardest.
My only feedback would be rounding the edges of the plastic canvas as they can be quite sharp even after wrapped up in the yarn. I had to trim them down to avoid pokey-stuff. Also the videos are helpful and informative, but as someone who is more experienced with stitching it would have been nice to have written directions in addition so I could skip through certain parts easier or just refer to the parts I needed.

This craft had a lot of support in how to create the bag, and I did manage to finish it! It is a very messy craft as the choice of yarn covers mistakes well but gets fluff everywhere; but it was fun to make, and there are various resources to help you complete the kit provide by Craft Club.
I am giving it 4 stars because of some of the hiccups I encountered. The plastic flower threader broke while preparing my second thread, and that thread wasn’t long enough to complete the stitch to sew the handle. I also ran out of yarn before finishing the craft; the light pink ran out the fastest, so I had to make do. I was able to finish the craft as displayed in the photo, but it would have been nice to properly finish off the bag the way I wanted.
Overall fun and easy craft and super happy with the amount of resources provided to finish the project.
This was such a fun and addictive project and I have zero experience with anything like this! The videos made everything very easy and visual. It was so fun and the end product was adorable. I can’t wait to make my second one!

Absolutely! This kit is super beginner-friendly. No weaving experience? No worries! We’ve got easy-to-follow instructions and a step-by-step video guide to walk you through the whole process. You’ll be making your own stylish bag before you know it!
What’s the difference between this kit and your other DIY kits?
Great question! While our latch-hook and moss kits are all about fluffy textures, this kit is all about woven magic. Think of it like crafting your own stylish handbag from scratch! You’ll be working with fabric, stitching, and weaving to create a piece that’s as cute as it is functional.
Why are they more expensive than the latch hook kits?
Our new moss kit are quite different from our classic latch-hooking kits, but they're equally enjoyable.
Mossy Kits:
- Focused on craft and creativity, meaning you can customise your coaster and make it unique to you.
- Uses multiple weaving techniques rather than one latch-hooking technique.
- Faster to create as it can be completed in 1-2 session easily.
- Teaches you to stitch or glue the backing, rather than having it pre-stitched.
Latch-Hooking Kits:
- Focused on mindfulness and relaxation, so its more suitable for watching TV in the background.
- Uses one repeated technique rather than multiple weaving techniques.
- Longer time to stitch as the project is much larger.
- The backing is pre-sewn and the yarn is pre-cut for you making it easier to get started.
Both kits are equally easy and suitable for beginners. However it depends on the activity you'd like to do. If you'd like to get crafty and be more openly creative then I recommend our moss kits. If you'd rather focus on mindfulness and relaxation, try our latch-hooking kits instead.
How long does it take to make?
Most people finish in about 5-7 hours, but you can go at your own pace! It's the perfect weekend project, or you can break it up into a few cozy craft sessions with a cup of tea (or wine—we won’t judge).
