They're pre-sewn with a soft suede-style backing and zip, meaning that all the hard work is done for you! Simply latch-hook your front, stuff it with a 50cm cushion insert and it's ready to go! Don't have an insert? Don't worry - we sell these too.

You'll also need scissors while completing your rug. We recommend using medium sized scissors that are nice and sharp so you get clean cuts on your yarn!

✂️ You can use any scissors you are comfortable with, but we recommend our 'Rug Trimming Scissors' as they are the perfect size for working on your rug! They are extra sharp and made of high quality steel.

What are the benefits of latch hooking?

What if I struggle with the kit?

Our kits are designed to be easy. They come with pre-printed backing that you can easily follow and simple instructions. We also provide a video tutorial if you prefer to watch and stitch along!

Finally, if you really struggle, the Founder of Craft Club will personally give you a 30 minute class via Zoom.

Are your kits good for recovery?

Loved making it and love how it looks in my space
Once I got the hang of it I finished it in no time. I got this kit because I was going to move out soon and the colours of this pillow are exactly the colours I wanted to add in my space.
A few thing I noticed:
- the zipper is always visible if you place the pillow the way it's supposed to be oriented (according to the product pictures and instruction pictures)
- I wish I was given a little bit more of the beige background colour so I could've made the edges, especially in de corners, a bit thicker/fluffier. Now at some points the wool does go until it hits the edge/backing, but at other places there are still some spots of the plastic visible.

Started with enthusiasm, ended with a critical eye
After visiting a friend who was making the cushion, I also got hooked on latch hooking. I found myself increasingly eager to see the final result and had been working on it every day since I started. Unfortunately, I don’t really like the quality of the wool. It doesn’t feel very soft, and it often splits in two. The final result is beautiful, but because of the quality, it doesn’t feel very comfortable. I also think the edges of the cushion could have been finished better.
