POP ART PETALS | Needlepoint Pouch Kit

This was my first half stitch project and I loved it! The technique was easy to pick up and well-explained in the tutorial video. It came together quickly so between that and the gorgeous design, this kit was extremely satisfying to complete! Very compact and portable too!

Loved creating this cute pouch. Easy to follow and a very relaxing way to be creative. Only slight issue with the needle threader being very delicate and breaking. Plenty of thread meant that I could make a few mistakes with no problems.

Love the bag. Good shape for storage. I changed some of the thread colors. Will buy again

I’m genuinely hoping that they fill the kits with more thread moving forward. I ran out when I still had a decent amount to go. Also, I fully agree with another review, where my needle threader broke on the first day of use. If testers had made the kit as-is, I’m sure this would’ve been preventable.

That said, the company was responsive and sent me additional thread to finish right away. I do recommend communicating via Instagram DM over email. Each email took an entire week to receive a response, but my DMs were replied to same-day or next-day.

Overall the finished kit is absolutely adorable and it was also such a perfectly compact size to be able to work on while out and about. I likely will buy another needlepoint kit from this company in the future, but I’m going to wait until they have time to update their supplies.

The pattern is so cute and this kit is really fun! It's a great hobby and I love the idea of the half stitch on a pouch, it will definitely be useful in the future.

However the needle threader broke IMMEDIATELY upon first use and I had a feeling it would (either the needle head is too small or the thread too big for the threader to pull through) and the package arrived super crushed. However everything is still usable (minus the threader). I have finished what I could with the given materials; I ran out of black thread and just made it with the light pink thread.

For reference, I was very safe with the black thread, cutting it into 90cm pieces and from each segment using it until little was left (one remaining piece shown in the picture for reference). I did not jump sections and would tie it off, so I was surprised I ran out because I thought the kit would plan for people who would have jumped 2cm as recommended in the guide. I will probably go to a craft store and have to buy more embroidery floss so that I can finish making the design.

Edit: Craft Club has exceptional customer service and is so sweet, they asked me more details so they can continue improving the kit. They have since sent me a new kit of my choosing because of these issues which they honestly didn't have to and was really nice of them. 😭
