Each patch tells its own story, coming together in a fun, feel-good mosaic that’s as nostalgic as it is delightful. This craft kit is as practical as it is playful - when you’ve finished, its the perfect home for your craft tools, trinkets or everyday essentials.

Made using our signature half-stitch technique, this kit is designed to be relaxing and accessible. Whether you're brand new to stitching or just looking for a satisfying side project, this kit makes it super easy to get started and even easier to finish.

What Is Half-Stitch Needlepoint?

What is Half-Stitch?Half-stitch is a form of needlepoint crafting! Needlepoint is a large and varied art form that involves using a needle, thread and canvas to create a design. Chances are you’ve heard of needlepoint crafts like embroidery or cross stitch before.

Why are our kits called Half-Stitch?Our half-stitch kits are a variation of traditional needlepoint, using a lightweight yarn stitched through starched canvas. We’ve named our kits ‘half-stitch’ because of the type of stitch used, a ‘half-cross stitch’! But this sort of needlepoint can also go by other names, such as tapestry or ‘tent’ stitch.

What makes half-stitch so beginner friendly?Our kits are perfect for absolute craft beginners (or those looking for a more satisfying project) because they involve an easy stitch that is repeated to create a detailed design. Our kits are pre-printed so you don’t need to read a pattern, and they are pre-sewn so you can use your pouch straight away.

How are your kits different from traditional needlepoint?The biggest difference between traditional needlepoint and our kits is that we have pre-sewn our designs so that they are functional straight after you’re finished. Classic needlepoint is stitched onto a flat canvas piece, and requires you to ‘finish’ your design in some form in order to use it. We have no shade towards traditional needlepoint - in fact we love it! But it can be daunting for craft newbies or those looking for a more easy-going project, which is why we love to help by sewing the pouch before its in your hands.

Fruit Market - All ready to go
This kit finally got me back into needlepoint. I love the convenience of having a kit with everything I need and then to have it ready to go to create a pouch. I always dread having to go back and pay to have the needlepoint backed and turned into a final piece. The size is perfect too - a reasonable undertaking that is doable, not something that will take me months. Just a little at a time and it is manageable to hold my attention and finish in a few weeks. Not done yet, but making real progress.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my granddaughter
I bought this as a Christmas present for my granddaughter. It’s is lovely , we sit together and she embroiders and I help her . She said she is going to use it for school . . I was very happy with it . You may want to check the tread numbers as they don’t correspond to the clours .
