Should I start latch hooking from the top or bottom?
There are actually two methods to latch hook, and depending on which one you prefer, working from the top or bottom may be preferable. We'd recommend getting used to it in the middle, seeing which way feels most natural and which direction the yarn falls. If you're pulling the tails down, start from the bottom and work up, and if you're pulling the tails upwards, start from the top and work down. Alternatively, you can start and work wherever you choose, in shapes, colour blocks, rows, or columns. You're the creator, here!

What happens if I lose my latch hook?
If your latch hook tool has broken or been lost, you'll be able to buy a replacement in most craft stores. If that's not an option, you can also use a crochet hook or your fingers to pull the loop of yarn through the canvas to tie it.
Do I need extra tools?
Nope! Everything you need is included in each kit. No extra trips to the craft store, no surprises. If your kit, for some reason, does seem to be missing something, please reach out to our Customer Support team, and we'll get your needed materials to you!
Do I need to trim my latch hook?
You don't need to trim your latch hook project; however, it could be helpful to trim any stray pieces to define the design. If you do want to trim your piece, less is more - you can't undo what's been trimmed!
