A rug tufting kit and a latch hook rug kit both lead to glorious handmade floor décor, but the process is a little different. Latch hook rugs are made by looping pre-cut yarn through canvas one knot at a time, while tufting uses a mechanical tool to create a dense, carpet-like finish and feel.

I'm loving rediscovering latch hooking after not having done it for over a decade! I bought this set with a really good sale so the price was great.
The bottom of the rug is sturdy and good material, so I'll know I'll have a rug that I will actually be able to use without having to do the finishing touches myself. I haven't finished it yet, but seems like the kit comes with more than enough yarn to finish the project! Latch hooking is easy, but the instructions it comes with are also very clear.
So long to make 🥲
I love it, but it's longer to make that I thought. I'll probably be done in 40-60 hours. It's been 6 hours, and I made 1/8 of the rug. (It's my first time) CraftClub : you should write an estimated time bracket on each product. ♥️

Hi Magalie! This is such a great suggestion, thank you for sharing it with us!
We’ll add estimated time brackets to our kits, and we’ll make sure this gets added to our suggestions list as a high priority.
And wow, you’re doing amazing for your first rug! Keep going, it’s looking beautiful already. ~Grace
Delightful
I absolutely loved creating my latch hook rug - going through a pretty stressful time in life with work and my kids, it was so nice to relax/unwind in the evening doing this craft where I didn’t have to think too much about what I was doing and could still watch some trashy tv at the same time!
Super easy & beautiful
Super easy & beautiful!!! I forgot how many hours I spent on this rug because once you started it was insanely hard to stop! Great project for beginners and whilst binge watching Netflix, now the cats have claimed the rug though
I love that everything you need comes in one kit. Makes it easy to take to the couch, office, or craft night! And I was so excited to see that the rug already came with a clean, finished edge and backing.
