What's the difference between a rug tufting kit and latch hook rugs?
A rug tufting kit and a latch hook rug kit both lead to glorious handmade floor décor, but the process is a little different. Latch hook rugs are made by looping pre-cut yarn through canvas one knot at a time, while tufting uses a mechanical tool to create a dense, carpet-like finish and feel.

Absolutely Beautiful
I made this rug for my granddaughter at Easter. She loved it! Plenty of pre-cut yarn & the pattern is very forgiving. Quality materials & beautiful finished product.
Almost perfect
A star is lost due to the pattern on the material not being printed spatially correctly, making it tricky to follow the guide. As this was made for a present I was frustrated bynot being able to make it perfect for this reason. But overall, lovely colours, decent size rug and great finished product.
Store owner replied:
Hi Maddie! Thank you so much for your feedback and for your kind words about the colours and finished product! We’re really sorry that the pattern placement made it tricky to follow, we’ve noted this and flagged it with our product team so we can improve future kits.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we’re so glad you enjoyed your rug overall!

It was my first latch hooking expérience but the kit came with very clear instructions that made it easy to follow and complete. Careful as the colors of this butterfly are more more flashier (almost neon) than I thought. Still very cute:)
Great Gift
It was a gift for my crafty sister. She absolutely loves it. She likes to craft the rug bit by bit everyday. Can't wait to see the final result.
