What is a Leather Wallet Kit?
It's everything you need to hand-sew your own genuine leather wallet or cardholder at home. The pieces come pre-cut and pre-punched, so all that's left is the satisfying part: stitching it together by hand, with step-by-step video tutorials to guide you.
What's the difference between The Fold and The Slip?
The Fold is a bifold wallet with card slots, a clear ID window and a note pocket, measuring 11cm x 9.5cm when closed. The Slip is a slim cardholder with a zipped coin pocket on the front and card slots on the back, measuring 10.5cm x 9cm.
Do I need any leatherworking experience?
None at all. Our leather wallet and cardholder kits are designed for total beginners. Every stitching hole is already punched for you, and the QR code in your kit takes you to our video tutorials.
Do I need any extra tools?
No, everything you need is in the box: a needle, waxed thread in two colours, a thimble, and bulldog clips to hold your pieces in place while you stitch. The Slip Cardholder kit also includes its zip.
Is it real leather?
Yes. Our wallet and cardholder kits are made with genuine leather.
How long does it take to make?
Around three hours for both The Fold Wallet and The Slip Cardholder. The perfect slow afternoon project.
Which thread colour should I use?
