The difference between milk yarn and chunky chenille yarn is in their weight and number of strands. Milk yarns is thin, soft, light, and made up of multiple yarn strands. Chunky chenille yarn is heavier, thicker, and is a single strand. Both are beginner friendly, but milk yarn is used more for detailed pieces, and chunky chenille is mostly used for larger plushes.

Crochet is a craft where yarn is interlocked using a hooked needle to create textured clothing or plush toys. Each stitch in crochet is completed before starting the next.

The stuffing is made from polyester fiberfill. This keeps your crochet piece not only full, but soft!

In our chunky crochet kits, we use chunky chenille yarn. The soft, thick yarn is perfect for our oversized amigurumi designs.

You'll need a large hook for chunky crochet. All materials needed will be inside your Craft Club kit, so there's no need to guess!

Chunky crochet is absolutely okay for beginners! The thicker nature of the yarn and hook makes it easy to see what you're doing and count your stitches.

A gentle wash would be ideal to clean your chunky crochet plush pieces. Alternatively, spot cleaning for a smaller area.
