Craft Club Yarn
I wrote this book because I know what it feels like to believe creativity isn't for you - that it's reserved for people who were told from a young age that they were "artistic," and that the rest of us just missed that window. I loved art and craft growing up, but I heard again and again that it wasn't a path I should follow. "You don't want to be a starving artist?"
But years into my 'sensible' career I reconnected with my creativity to help with stress and anxiety, and it completely changed how I saw myself. That road eventually lead to starting Craft Club. And after 5yrs and talking to over 100,000 customers, I know I'm not alone in that feeling.
Craft Club Yarn is 20 latch hooking and weaving projects published with Hardie Grant, designed for anyone who's been carrying that same belief.
The projects work with any yarn, any budget, and any experience level, and they're sequenced so your confidence builds naturally from the very first page to the last. By the end, you won't just have made something beautiful - you'll have proof that you too are an artist.

Preorder the Book!
For a first-time author, preorders aren't just exciting - they make a HUGE difference in what happens once the book is released.
Strong preorder numbers signal to publishers, major retailers, independent booksellers and craft stores that a book deserves shelf space. It basically shows those places that the book is worth investing in!
One of my biggest dreams is to see Craft Club Yarn in indie bookshops and craft stores - the kind of places where I have discovered craft books that changed my life.
Every preorder is a vote that makes that possible. If you choose to preorder a copy, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

What materials do I need for the book projects?
The projects in this book have been specifically designed to use accessible and affordable materials. Here are the basics you will need.
Must Haves:
Latch Hook - Either plastic or wooden will work. If you've bought one of our kits in the past, this is a great way to reuse your latch hook.
Latch Hook Canvas - Available online or in your local craft store, any count can be used but we recommend 4ct because its soft and beginner friendly.
Yarn - Any yarn at all! This book focuses on techniques that can use multiple types and weights of yarn, to suit your stash and what is available in your area. In the book we discuss how to select yarn and how to make your yarn fit into your project. If you want to be extra prepared, I recommend collecting any unique or textured yarn that sparks joy for you.
Thread and Needle - Any thread can be used, from simple sewing thread to embroidery floss. Choose a needle that matches the size of your thread. Leftovers from our craft kits work perfectly!
Nice-To-Haves:
Hot Glue Gun - Whilst it's not necessary, a hot glue gun will make your life so much easier! You can get very affordable ones at your local craft of DIY store, as well as online.
Felt - Many projects will recommend felt as backing, because its affordable, easily accessible and won't fray. Cheap craft felt or more premium pressed felt will both work wonderfully.
Many more materials will be touched on in the book!
