Warum heißen unsere Kits Half-Stitch?Unsere Half-Stitch-Kits sind eine Variante der traditionellen Nadelkunst: Dabei wird leichtes Garn durch eine gestärkte Leinwand gestickt. Wir haben unsere Kits „Half-Stitch“ genannt, weil dabei ein bestimmter Stich verwendet wird – der „Halbkreuzstich“! Diese Art der Nadelkunst ist jedoch auch unter anderen Namen bekannt, etwa als Tapisserie- oder „Zeltstich“.
Was macht Half-Stitch so anfängerfreundlich?Unsere Kits sind perfekt für absolute Bastelanfänger (oder alle, die ein erfüllenderes Projekt suchen), da sie einen einfachen Stich verwenden, der wiederholt wird und so ein detailreiches Design entstehen lässt. Unsere Kits sind vorgedruckt, sodass du kein Muster lesen musst, und bereits vernäht, sodass du deine Tasche sofort verwenden kannst.
Wie unterscheiden sich eure Kits von traditioneller Nadelkunst?Der größte Unterschied zwischen traditioneller Nadelkunst und unseren Kits besteht darin, dass wir unsere Designs bereits vernähen, sodass sie direkt nach der Fertigstellung funktional sind. Klassische Nadelkunst wird auf ein flaches Stück Leinwand gestickt und muss anschließend in irgendeiner Form „fertiggestellt“ werden, damit du sie verwenden kannst. Are needle threaders necessary?
Needle threaders are not strictly necessary for half stitch, but are incredibly useful. Yarn used for half stitch is thicker than embroidery floss and tougher to thread only with your fingers. Needle threaders significantly reduce this difficulty and get you working on your project faster!
