Notre tapis MAGICAL MOSS est là pour apporter un petit coin de paradis dans votre maison. Conçu pour ressembler à un ruisseau bavard entouré de mousse et de roches texturées, ce tapis est non seulement une pièce de décoration pratique, mais également un chef-d'œuvre sculptural !
Ce kit comprend une ÉNORME quantité de fournitures totalisant 32 articles - avec tous les outils et plusieurs fils inclus. Les types de fils comprennent le fil chenille, le fil de lait, le fil de plumes et le fil à pompons, tous disponibles en plusieurs couleurs.
Ce kit utilise plusieurs techniques de tissage et d'artisanat. Il est parfait pour les débutants absolus car il est accompagné de didacticiels vidéo complets pour chaque technique, mais il est également idéal pour les accros au verrouillage chevronnés qui souhaitent essayer quelque chose de nouveau.

Additional materials:
Our kits come with everything needed to hot-glue the non-slip backing and sew the edges, but you can also use fabric glue if you have it handy.

Our moss kits are the perfect activity to help you connect with your creativity and make something that is uniquely yours.
Our moss kits include a HUGE range of textured yarns, such as bobble, feather and chenille yarn, making them unlike any kit you’ve ever made. Using a combination of simple weaving and latch-hooking techniques, they’re great for craft newbies or pros who want to try something new.
Whilst all of our moss kits come with a guide to make yours exactly like ours, we also provide a range of variations so that you can customise your coaster or rug to be your own!

Not having purchased from Craft Club before I was a little concerned about the price and whether I had the patience to make this bad boy! But it is well worth the money, it comes with so much material, that even when I made a few mistakes there was plenty left to redo it. The instruction videos are clear and broken down into each section so it’s easy to follow. If you’re new to latch hooking I would probably recommend starting on a smaller project or you might find it overwhelming. But it was a joy to make and I’m stoked with how well it turned out. I made it for my sensory seeking kiddo who loves it x
I bought this as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. She absolutely loves it. Although she has not yet finished the kit, it already looks quite impressive even to a lay-goober like myself.
Delivery was fast. It arrived in two or three boxes and contained a couple of cubic meters of yarn.

XXL Moss Rug FAQ
Is this XXL rug suitable for beginners?
Yes! If you're a newbie looking for a larger project, you can still complete our XXL rug even if you've never made a mossy project before.
The main difference between our moss rugs and coasters is the size of the finished piece. Because of the scale of our XXL rug, you'll have to invest more time into finishing your project. The techniques are still the same, just supersized!
What's the difference between moss kits, and latch-hook kits?
Our new moss kit are quite different from our classic latch-hooking kits, but they're equally enjoyable.
Mossy Kits:
- Focused on craft and creativity, meaning you can customise your coaster and make it unique to you.
- Uses multiple weaving techniques rather than one latch-hooking technique.
- Faster to create as it can be completed in 1-2 session easily.
- Teaches you to stitch or glue the backing, rather than having it pre-stitched.
Latch-Hooking Kits:
- Focused on mindfulness and relaxation, so its more suitable for watching TV in the background.
- Uses one repeated technique rather than multiple weaving techniques.
- Longer time to stitch as the project is much larger.
- The backing is pre-sewn and the yarn is pre-cut for you making it easier to get started.
Both kits are equally easy and suitable for beginners. However it depends on the activity you'd like to do. If you'd like to get crafty and be more openly creative then I recommend our moss kits. If you'd rather focus on mindfulness and relaxation, try our latch-hooking kits instead.
Why is this rug more expensive than your other?
The short answer: its HUGE!
Our XXL rug is honestly one of the largest moss projects possible to make. Its over 25x the size of our moss coasters, which retail for $49 AUD. This means you're getting over $1225 AUD worth of supplies!
Of course we're able to give a hefty discount on supplies when they are packed in bulk, so this means we can offer it at a much more affordable price than if you were purchasing 25x individual coaster kits.
We also include free shipping with this kit! It costs us between $60-$150 AUD to ship this giant rug kit, depending on where you live. So we see this as part of the added value too!
What techniques are included?
You'll learn the following techniques with our moss kits. Each technique will be included in the video tutorials provided.
For your XXL rug:
- Bobble yarn weaving
- Latch-hooking 'hair' moss
- Weaving fuzzy loops
- Embroidering flowers

How long does it take to finish?
Our moss kits are faster to create than our latch-hooking projects as they use different techniques.
Our XXL Moss Rug can take anywhere between 10-30hrs to make, depending on your choice of techniques.
Techniques like the latch-hooked 'hair' moss take longer than the feather yarn grass patches. So you can adjust the design of your rug to suit your own project timeline.
