I've never done any of these crafts — is that a problem?
Not at all — first-timers are exactly who we design for. Every design comes printed or mapped onto the canvas, so there's nothing to decode and no pattern to learn first. You get printed instructions plus a QR code to a follow-along video, so you can watch someone do it before you try it. Most people who buy these kits have never done the craft before.
What's in the box — do I need to buy anything else?
Everything you need to make the thing is in the box: the design already printed or mapped for you, all the materials with spares, the proper tools, printed instructions and a QR code to the video guide. Two honest exceptions — latch hook kits don't include scissors, so grab your own pair, and most latch hook cushion kits are cover-only, so you'll want a cushion insert. The 'What's Included' section on each product page tells you exactly what comes with that kit.
How long will one take?
Anywhere from an afternoon to a few relaxed weeks — you choose. Quick makes like a coaster or a pouch are an evening or two. Moss and embroidery kits are a comfortable weekend project. A full-size latch hook rug is 15–30 hours, which is about a month of casual stitching in front of the TV. Every product page shows an estimated time, and nothing has to be done in one sitting — all of these are made to be put down and picked up again.
What if I mess it up?
You almost certainly won't — and if you do, it's fixable. The design is pre-printed, so there's no drawing, measuring or guessing, and every kit is packed with spare materials specifically so there's room to make a mistake and correct it. These crafts are forgiving by nature: a knot in the wrong place or a slightly wonky row disappears into the finished piece. If something genuinely goes wrong, email hello@craftclubco.com with your order number and we'll sort it out.
Which one should I start with?
Pick by what you want to end up with, not by how 'good' you are — they're all beginner-friendly.
- Brand new to craft? Latch hook is close to fool-proof — one technique, repeated, on a printed canvas.
- Want variety in one project? Moss kits use 4–5 different techniques, so you learn a lot in one sitting.
- Want a skill you'll keep? Embroidery teaches classic, transferable stitches.
- Want something methodical and calming? Half stitch is one repeated stitch, following a chart.
Do you ship to me, and how fast?
We ship worldwide from warehouses in Sydney and Bristol, so most orders don't travel far. Orders are packed within 1–3 business days (allow a little longer during a sale), then it's typically 5–10 days within Australia and New Zealand and 7–14 days everywhere else. US customers never pay tariffs — we cover those. Other international orders may attract local duties, which are set by your country rather than by us.
