Absolutely. We designed it for total first-timers. There is just one simple stitch to learn, the canvas is printed so you always know where each colour goes, and we walk you through everything in the instructions and the video. If you can hold a needle, you can do this.
What's in the needlepoint cushion kits?
Needlepoint cushion kits contain everything you need! Printed pre-stitch canvas cushion, premium yarn in every colour, a steel tapestry needle and needle threader plus a QR code for online guide & video tutorials.
What does “pre-sewn cushion” actually mean?
It means we have done the boring bit for you. Your canvas already comes sewn into the shape of a cushion cover, so when you finish stitching the front there is nothing to sew together. You just pop in an insert and you are done. No sewing machine, no finishing panic.
Do these kits come with cushion inserts?
No, the kits don't come with inserts. These will need to be purchased separately. Please make sure you check the sizing of your kit before buying an insert!
What if I make a mistake?
Easy fix — this is one of the most forgiving crafts there is. Unthread the needle, pull the stitches back, and have another go. The canvas will not mind, and neither will we.
Can cushion crafts be washed?
Yes, your cushion project can be washed! We recommend machine washing on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag. Make sure to take the cushion insert out first!
Are there guides included?
Yes, video and written guides are included in our kits. We want to make crafting as enjoyable as possible, so there's no way we'll leave you hanging!
