Each sunflower is made in parts:
- đ° Sunflower Front (brown)
- đż Sunflower Back (green)
Youâll crochet these two pieces first, then stitch them together while adding the yellow petals around the outside. đŒ
Hereâs what youâll be doing:
- Start by creating a magic ring for both front and back pieces.

Â

Hereâs the process:
- Start by creating a foundation chain.
- Work along both sides of the chain to shape your leaf.
- Attach the stitches around the wire as you go to keep it sturdy.
âš Tip: Donât worry if your leaves have a little curve â it gives them a natural, organic look!
Â
đȘŽ Step 4: Assemble Your Sunflowers and Stems
Now itâs time to bring everything together!
Hereâs what youâll do:
- Weave in all your yarn ends using your weaving needle.
- Attach the thicker wires to each sunflower to create strong stems.
- Add the leaves by attaching them to your stems â arrange them however you like! đż
- Wrap the stems and leaves tightly with sage green yarn until the wire is completely covered.
âš Tip: Take your time wrapping the yarn neatly â itâll make your finished piece look extra polished!
Â
Â
