You'll also need scissors while completing your rug. We recommend using medium sized scissors that are nice and sharp so you get clean cuts on your yarn!
✂️ You can use any scissors you are comfortable with, but we recommend our 'Rug Trimming Scissors' as they are the perfect size for working on your rug! They are extra sharp and made of high quality steel.

The rug is cute and it’s nice to have everything I need included in the kit, BUT the quality of the canvas is really disappointing. My rug wasn’t cut properly so the end with the blue and magenta flowers doesn’t start how it should, according to the pattern vs what’s printed on the canvas. I can make it work, but it’s a bit of a headache.
More concerning though is the way the edging on the canvas was left. It is poorly sewn and was unraveling/frayed. I put some fabric glue on the loose threads to try to secure them and prevent further issues, but I’m not sure how it will hold up long term. The photos were taken after I back the frayed pieces and glued them down.
I wish I could say this is just a one off occurrence, but I also ordered the Amalfi Rug Kit and that canvas has similar problems.
This has been my favorite latch hook kit so far. I wish it were bigger!

i haven’t latch hooked since i was a kid! it’s super easy and is the perfect pass time for anyone who needs to be doing something with their hands at all time as it doesn’t require much mental energy. it’s my new go to pastime for when i am watching tv or a movie!

No! And we really mean it. Latch-hooking is a super simple technique that allows you to create gorgeous shaggy bags or rugs with affordable materials. You're simply learning how to make a knot with your latch hook, then repeating the same simple action with each colour section you need. Our kits include pre-printed canvas meaning that you don't need any complicated patterns. All you need is your kit and you've got everything you need to create a masterpiece!
What are the benefits of latch hooking?
Aside from being totally addictive, latch hooking is a fantastic tool for mindfulness. If you've ever tried meditation and found it too hard to focus, this activity is for you. It's keeps you engaged whilst helping keep your hands busy. Are your kits good for recovery?
Latch-hooking is a very accessible craft if you or a loved one is in recovery or on bed rest. It's mess-free and can be done comfortably in bed.
Its low impact on your hands, and is still comfortable for our customers who struggle with grip strength. It's also great for building back muscle strength in your hands as well as hand-eye coordination.
